Parent support programs are designed to assist you as a parent with a baby in the NICU. These programs may include formal discussions on specific topics or small group discussions between parents, but with professionals present to answer any questions. It may also include a discussion of the pregnancy, birth and NICU experiences, and more. Different hospitals have different parent support programs in place. Unfortunately, some hospitals do not have any programs in place. This however does not need to be a problem since Little StepsTM website will offer you the opportunity to e-mail any questions to professionals that can answer them for you.
